Phoned for a quote for a new roof on one of our rentals.

Found the advisor rude after saying I'd had a quote from somewhere else.

I said I wanted it assessed and have advice on what work needs doing and with the good reviews and being local company I wanted to hire this company.

However, the customer service was so bad, they wanted me to tell them what work needed doing and exactly what needed to be bought. We found the advisor passive aggressive.

I am disappointed because the reviews were so good and being local.

If you don’t know anyone in the building trade, it’s always difficult to know where to start when you encounter a problem. Initially I tried going through ‘checkatrade’ to try and find someone to fix a problem with my daughter’s roof. Two different companies contacted me quickly and both were very prompt in coming out to have a look at the roof. But one quoted a price which was far too cheap to solve the issue and the other seemed ridiculously expensive for the work involved. Then I came across Colin Cole who has been working in the area for over twenty years and whose work was very well respected by many reviewers. In short, Colin came out very quickly to look at the problem, gave a realistic quote for the work involved and completed the work quickly. My daughter is delighted and from what I can see, Colin has done an excellent job and solved the problem.
