If you don’t know anyone in the building trade, it’s always difficult to know where to start when you encounter a problem. Initially I tried going through ‘checkatrade’ to try and find someone to fix a problem with my daughter’s roof. Two different companies contacted me quickly and both were very prompt in coming out to have a look at the roof. But one quoted a price which was far too cheap to solve the issue and the other seemed ridiculously expensive for the work involved. Then I came across Colin Cole who has been working in the area for over twenty years and whose work was very well respected by many reviewers. In short, Colin came out very quickly to look at the problem, gave a realistic quote for the work involved and completed the work quickly. My daughter is delighted and from what I can see, Colin has done an excellent job and solved the problem.

Excellent work by Colin communicated well talked me through the progress of the work, really professional and tidy with his finishing and clearing up. Would highly recommend his work. The flat roof was needing replacing and the firestone waterproof rubber has a 20 year guarantee. Really happy customer.

We had a terrible leaking roof, where our property joins onto the neighbour's house. Colin worked for both of us and repaired the leak. He is very busy and we had to wait a while for him to be available. He is worth waiting for! He is very busy for a reason. The standard of work is excellent but he is also a really kind and decent person. Every aspect of the job is discussed and agreed. While the scaffolding was up, we employed Colin to replace the flat roof on our bathroom too. Another excellent job. Highly recommended.
